Varshana @authenticallowing’s Fundraising Page

A national leader in immersive mindfulness education, Inward Bound Mindfulness offers teens and young adults a rare opportunity to gain a level of insight into their own experience and build safe and authentic connection with peers and mentors. Every summer, hundreds of teens from across the country sign up for our “more than a summer camp” mindfulness retreats to discover and be themselves within a caring community and pristine natural setting.

Your support will go to the Teen Scholarships Fund, which enables us to uphold our founding commitment of accepting every teen regardless of their family’s capacity to pay tuition. Since 2017, this fund has provided teens with $2.1M in program scholarships.

Please help me reach my goal by May 26th. Thanks to a generous donor, gift amounts of $250-$2,500 will be matched up to $25,000!

From Varshana

“Thank you for your interest in mindfulness education for our youth!

Learning these skills early in life can drastically change the trajectory of a young person’s life, and Inward Bound helps regardless of a family’s financial status through their scholarship program. Help this fantastic organization change lives by supporting this scholarship fund!

While you may have found this page from one of my social media profiles highlighting my own teens experience in Northern California, don’t forget to check back on the national retreat list for this summer to see if there is an upcoming event near you or your loved ones. Spread the gift of awareness to others not just through giving but in knowledge around how important this impact is to our youth!”

Teens need our support more than ever.

Confident in their needs and their dreams, Gen Z leaders are showing their elders and each other how to authentically share one’s voice and take action. At the same time, the multitude of crises – a global pandemic, a climate emergency, systemic racism – and the responsibility youth feel to address them have resulted in the highest rates of anxiety, depression, and suicide recorded in history for young people.

Inward Bound programs are a unique opportunity to meet the call of this consequential moment and provide teens with an embodied sense of awareness, well-being, self-confidence, and interconnectedness amidst the chaos.
