Your donation to iBme sustains hundreds of teens who need financial assistance to attend our retreats.
Together we’re creating a world where young leaders are prepared to respond to the mounting challenges of their time with focus, resilience, and compassion for themselves, their communities and the global environment.
The only way this vision can be realized is if all youth are able to access the kind of transformative experience iBme offers, independent of their financial circumstances.
Will you support iBme’s 2020 teen scholarship fund today?
For ten years, we have made sure that every teen who wanted to attend an iBme retreat, regardless of their ability to pay tuition, knew they would be able to come. In Summer 2019 alone, we gave out over $400,000 in scholarships. In addition, we are working towards a world of equity and inclusion, and in 2019 29% of our teens identify as LGBTQ+ and 31% identify as teens of color.
The growing demand for our programs comes with significantly increased scholarship needs. We remain committed to meeting this need, and we do not want to to shift our policy of no teen turned away. You are critical in making this possible with us: six staff, dozens of teachers and hundreds of volunteers.
Thank you so much for helping us create a world we know is possible.
Total amount of scholarship need per retreat is based on expected average pay and number of teen participants
